The Ysaÿe Trio was founded in 2006 and has performed frequently throughout the Netherlands as well as in Sweden, Germany, Canada and Bulgaria. The trio performed live radio and television broadcasts from Festival Classique, Den Haag (NL) and Vrije Geluiden, Amsterdam (NL). The trio performs regularly with pianist Hanna Shybayeva as part of a special project entitled ‘Symphonic Intimacies’ showcasing historical chamber music arrangements of symphonic works. The Ysaÿe trio also appears frequently in conjunction with the New European Ensemble in contemporary music concerts. Previous concerts have included performances at the Varna Summer Festival (BG), Grachtenfestival (NL), International Kamermuziek Festival Utrecht (NL) and Festival Classique (NL). The trio also performed with Clarinetist Charles Neidich.

The Ysaÿe Trio received tuition in chamber music from Arnold Steinhardt, Valentin Erbin, Eberhard Feltz, Istvan Parkanyi and Vladimir Mendelssohn.
